Every meeting begins with a reminder that there are things we can change, things we cannot change and wisdom is required to know the difference. That principle became one of the foundations of my recovery journey and remains a foundational element of The Trinity Stars Doctrine.

This song grows directly from that insight. The line, "There's a freedom in releasing what was never yours to steer", captures the essence of the message. Many of us spend years attempting to control outcomes, people and events that ultimately lie beyond our authority. The peace described in this song begins when that struggle ends.

Serenity (Let Go, Let God) is therefore not a song about giving up. It is a song about trusting God enough to let go. And from that surrender, serenity flows.
